Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Two-Year  Program

   

Designed for mental health professionals, the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program provides opportunity to colleagues in the various mental health fields to interact in a collegial atmosphere by offering courses and supervision leading to a certificate of completion in general psychodynamic psychotherapy that can be completed in two years.  A concentration in Jungian Analytical Psychology is available.  For LMFTs, Social Workers and Psychologists, CEU credit is available in for most courses.

First Year

  • Human Development I: Birth through Latency
  • Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Concepts
  • History of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
  • Schools of Psychoanalytic Thought
  • Human Development: Birth through Latency

Second Year

  • Human Development II: Adolescence through Adulthood
  • Transference and Countertransference
  • Psychodynamic Technique
  • Dreams: Freudian and Jungian Views

Additional Requirement:
